Is wrapping hard to learn?

So, you've considered wrapping, but then wonder how in the world you are supposed to wear your baby with all that fabric? And isn't it hard to do? Doesn't it take forever?

These are not uncommon reactions to woven wraps. It's a long piece of fabric - no gadgets, buckles, clips, or rings. Just a simple long piece of cloth. And there is a learning curve. But, within a 2-3 minutes you can put on a wrap for the first time ever and carry your baby in it. Once you practice that carry, you soon will find that within 30 seconds you are able to put your baby in a wrap, making it just as quick as you can buckle on a baby carrier. Wrapping is truly an art form and so it takes practice to perfect your art. But, it's not the type of learning curve thought that is usually imagined to be. It really only takes a couple of minutes to learn one carry to use with your baby. And after that...it's just tying it a few more times and soon you are comfortable with tying a wrap.
